Commercial EPC:

The European Commission's Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) requires that all buildings (with limited exceptions) must have an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) in place, when they are constructed, sold or rented. Please click here to find out more about EPC's.
Property Developers, Owners and Landlords will not be able to conduct property transaction business without having a valid EPC in place. It is the responsibility of Property Developers, Owners and Landlords to commission and obtain an EPC for their property before marketing commences, even if an Agent is acting on their behalf. Aside from being unable to sell or let a building, failure to hold a valid EPC can result in a fine of 12.5% of the rateable value of the building, up to a maximum of £5,000.
Murbrook is an accredited EPC Assessor that is authorised to conduct Level 3 and Level 4 surveys on Commercial Buildings and produce the required Energy Performance Certificates. We are able to react quickly to instructions and deliver the EPCs  in an efficient and professional manner.

Land Introduction:
 
Murbrook act for numerous landowners and developers. We have a successful track record in negotiating and progressing Residential and Commercial Development sites to fruition.
Our Managing Director, Colin Hetherington, has 15 years experience working for and with major Plc Developers and is a well respected figure in the North West House Building Industry; being a former Plc Land Director.
The majority of sites we introduce are sourced off market and we consciously ensure that details of those sites are only distributed to a limited number of developers.
We act for many of the North West's housbuilders and Developers and can provide a Site Search Service, where Murbrook will actively search specific towns on behalf of clients.
